With one of the nation’s highest vaccination rates and lowest case rates, California is open to welcome visitors.
Large events (over 10,000 people outdoors or 1,000室内), including theme parks and large sporting events, may have vaccination or testing requirements. Attendees should check guidelines with event operators when buying tickets or making reservations.
Masks are required for everyone in indoor public settings in many counties, including Los Angeles, and recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control for indoor public settings in most of the state.
Starting November 8, the United States and California are opening their borders to fully vaccinated travelers from 33 countries. When traveling to the U.S., visitors will also be required to show a WHO-approved negative COVID-19 test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19. The timing of this test will depend on vaccination status and age.
